CONSERVING THE ANDEAN MOUNTAIN CAT
Little known, small cats often get minimal to no funding. Wild About Cats funded this project 100%, due to their lack of other sources. The original project researcher, Dr. Mauro Lucherini (click here to email him), also has a Geoffroys & Pampas Cat Project underway that still needs funding. Tax deductible donations can be sent through our Paypal Online Store.
After this project's important discovery that the Andean Cat still exists, The Andean Mountain Cat Alliance was formed with researchers from four range countries. And since the original project, these cats have been captured and released, photographed, and video taped through the important funding of the Wildlife Conservation Network.
